To follow up on my post about “slow maturing” I think these photos help a lot.
The first one was taken in January 2010… he’s a little over a year old there.
The second one was taken at the end of April, 2011 (that makes him about 2 years, four months old…
You can see what I mean about “drop of chest” :) He’s still not fully mature in the second photo, but he sure looks a lot more adult!
Just for fun today since we’ve been talking about dog shows… here’s some from the wayback machine. I think the boys are maybe 8 and 10 months old here. I usually don’t have pictures from a lot of shows because I’m the camera person, so if I’m in the ring, um… hard to take a picture!
Friends of mine were handling the dogs that day for me, I was having some serious eye issues and was afraid I’d be dropping dogs off the table since I had no depth perception. Old camera, old pics, but… fun. Look how baby-puppy the boys are! XD
(Caleb was totally like “I’m not so sure about this big male dog?” - However he was the sweetest dude and just wanted to play with all the babies. Simon was just keeping an eye on his little brother. <3)
Simon sez, “Little cold down there when you’re short!” XD
Snow day family portrait!
(Working on a bunch of pics, but Simon’s wink was too funny to not share.)
Well, okay — taking a break from Corgi Puppy Friday today because — just look at that face. Seriously. I melted when I went to process this picture. Caleb = *melt*
I shall call him squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my squishy!
If I fall off this counter, you guys are going to eat me, aren’t you?
Jurassic Bark. Cardiraptors.
It’s my cheese. Miiiineeee!
(Had guests over for the day. Hi Ginger, hi Amber, hi Drift’s foot!) XD
Don’t look all so surprised because I said, “Guys, everyone’s got to move over, sorry.”
Seriously guys. Also, quit making a pillow fort out of my pillows, Simon.
