Hahha, aw… I got a few messages in the inbox about - oh, I didn’t know you had a horse!
This is Blondie, and she’s the sweetest horse ever. She’s actually a Corgi that got body swapped. She’s sure she belongs in the car with the rest of the dogs going for a ride. ;)
She also takes naps VERY seriously. You can flop down with her and nap on her and she’ll just keep snoring away. She’s a first class napper. XD
I just always love Blondie’s blaze… it’s funny how many people come up and say, “Oh! I know that mare!”
She’s good at leaning over fences and looking like I never ever feed her. ;) I think she learned it from the Cardis.
Blondie in the sunshine… she was coming down to meet me at the bottom of the pasture to see if I had a cookie in the pocket as well as a camera. I didn’t, but she forgave me for a scratch behind the ears.
Blondie takes her sleeping seriously… <3
Yeah, a lot of times I just nudge her over so I can use her as a backrest and read my books or sketch. <3
Wish I was outside riding my girl instead of inside working on work-stuff. :(
(Oh well, at least I’ve got Transformers Prime to keep me company along with the dogs, cats, and very bored goldfish.)
Blondie, waiting at the arena…
(She’s my honorary Corgi. Trust me, if she could sleep on the end of the bed and play with rope toys, she’d be totally happy with her life. XD)
Out in Denver to do some family stuff — and man, there’s horses everywhere. I totally miss my horses right now, I just want to get on and go riding.
So, yes, you get my horses tonight. This is Blondie (the dun paint who is sure she is a Corgi, not a horse) and Captain Jack Aubrey. (Crotchety retired old lawn ornament Arabian…)
They would totally love riding through all these trails out here. But they would not love the 103 degree heat, wow. I don’t love it. My little Seattle heart is overheating.
PS: Miss the dogs and the cats too. ;)
